Martin Brundle
was born on the 1st June 1959 in Kings Lynn, England. He drove
for the Tyrell team from 1984 to 1986, Zakspeed in 1987, Brabham
in 1989 and 91, partnered Michael Schumacher at Benetton in 1992
and Mark Blundell at Ligier in 1993...Blundell and Brundle in the
same team...Poor Murray. In 1994 he replaced Senna at McLaren and
returned to Tyrell to partner Mark Blundell once more in 1995
before joining Rubens Barrichello at Jordan for 1996. In 1997, he
hung up his overalls and pickud up Murrays microphone. Martin has
to be the best partner Murray has ever had in his commentary
booth. James Hunt was dearly missed and remains irreplaceable.
Martin has not tried to replace Hunt, he has merely been a vital
addition to the ITV commentary team who more than makes up for
all the adverts.
